One feature that makes it unique, besides the intimate link with local art, is its location: El Pueblito is within the Biocentro Iguazu, at kilometer 3 of the National Route 12, a place dedicated to the conservation of flora and fauna of the region. The hotel is named after its creator, Patricia Vaca Durán, a businesswoman who loves nature and wanted to pay homage to the city of Iguazu with building scale replicas of some of its typical buildings: the National Park Administration, the school 615 Mariano Moreno, the police building and the building of the National Administration of Customs.
This hotel defined as a theme hotel; the decor and the services, the activities and amenities are inspired by the work of local artists influenced by the exuberance of the generous nature of the place. Its 25 rooms, that can sleep about 70 guests, are equipped with everything needed for a five-star stay: King beds, wardrobes, minibar, safe, hairdryer, desk-dresser, telephone, flat screen TV, personal hygiene products made from vegetable oils and free Wi-Fi.
Along with the pool of sand and natural water in the garden you can also appreciate a charming chapel with stained glass and hand paintings of the Holy Family, San Francisco, San Silvestre and some protagonists of the flora and fauna of the region as the jaguars, butterflies, toucans, coatis and others.
Opened in June 2015, the hotel was designed in key regional where an infrastructure and eco-sustainable operation work, which means it has alternative and renewable energy with solar panels and a pallet boiler of negligible environmental impact. As a policy dedicated to respecting the sustainability, all suppliers are hotel businesses, workers and local artists who, in turn, contribute to the regional identity of the stay.

At present, “El Pueblito” is qualified for the "Rain Forest" certification as it passed the audit and is only awaiting the outcome which will surely be positive because all critical aspects requested were met.
